Fraud is a serious problem because every dollar stolen from a public program is a dollar that cannot serve the Minnesotans those programs were designed to help.

It is important to be clear about the timeline: Dan Kessler was not serving in elected office when the fraud occurred or when the underlying state oversight failures took place. He was a private citizen and psychologist at the time. He is now running for the Minnesota Senate.
