Special guest Hobart Stocking will be joining us as we talk about the importance of effectively framing and messaging the issue of climate justice. As a candidate, campaign manager or volunteer, what do you say when someone asks you about climate, energy or justice? These issues are all connected and increasingly woven into our politics. They impact our economy, our agriculture and our transportation. But more than that, they are moral issues that will determine how we treat each other today and in our future.
Learn the "why," the "how," and the "what" of climate and energy justice. Help activitate the values of potential climate voters. Piss off the opposition while avoiding the mistakes of past communications on climate. Join us and let's workshop some examples.
This webinar is FREE with an optional Pay What You Will to support the work of Connections Lab.

Our world has been in a state of tension and disbelief for the past month witnessing the invasion of the sovereign nation of Ukraine by Vladimir Putin and his autocratic henchmen. Our hearts and prayers go out to the people of Ukraine who are fleeing their homeland by the hundreds of thousands by any means available to them and the brave citizens within and outside of Ukraine who are remaining to defend their country.
We wanted to use our April CIA event to discuss the difference in how refugees are treated and portrayed when they are from a predominantly white, European country and America's historical racist practices in America's refugee and immigration policies that still impact current policies.
Our hope is that everyone will feel more confident discussing this topic within their personal networks and help spread anti-racism messaging about refugees and immigrants to help motivate our elected leaders and workplaces to change unfair immigration and refugee policies.
