In my work as a clinical psychologist and as a public school parent, I see every day that children cannot learn, and families cannot thrive, if they do not feel safe in their schools, neighborhoods, and communities. Gun violence is a public health emergency that demands urgent, common-sense action, not complacency. I am deeply honored to earn the endorsement of Moms Demand Action. I will be a steadfast partner in advancing evidence-based gun safety laws, supporting secure firearm storage, and protecting the safety and well-being of every Minnesota family.

As part of Everytown for Gun Safety, the organization mobilizes volunteers across every state to advocate for life-saving laws, close dangerous legislative loopholes, and promote a culture of responsible firearm ownership.
